DAVID SUZUKI - A MENTOR - "Get out in Nature"

WOW ! David Suzuki turned 75 this month ! If you don't know him.....get to know him....He has so much passion in saving our environment and has walked a long road informing us all on what is happening to our planet and to recognize that we can make different choices as consumers. My fondest memory of David is him on the show, "Nature of Things" on CBC. He used to walk around sharing his discoveries and treasures in our own backyards and surrounding area. The smile on his face and gentle way he spoke always intriqued me and kept my attention.
This month, Joseph Roberts interviewed David in the magazine, 'Common Ground'. Great article ! People, please read it, if you care about preserving our environment and taking pleasure in the simple things in life. Something David said in that interview I wish to share with you, as it has inspired me to keep it simple.
" My dad and mom said you need money to buy the necessities in life, but you don't run after money as if having more makes you a better or more important person. Don't obsess over it." ALSO,
"Live within your means, save some for tomorrow, help your neighbour as you never know when you might need their help."
